Many people confuse the terms solarium and sunroom. Basically, they are the same but with the following differences:

A solarium is built as an extension of an existing room, or as an additional room within a home. It is a part of the regular living (or conditioned) space of a home. It must adhere to thermal and seismic codes, just as with any other home addition or remodel.

A sunroom on the other hand, is an external attachment to a home, entered through an exterior door.

Whatever your choice sunroom, residential or commercial application, MJD Glass has the knowledge, experience and skilled installers to complete your renovation.
